Hey Beautiful Ladies!
Today's discussion will focus on affordable make-up. Make-up is a trusty companion for those days when you look and feel tired, don't feel as attractive, or have a sudden breakout. The brands I love and frequently use are: Mary Kay, Mally, Flirt, mark by Avon and Philosophy. I am working on a five minute make-up look so that I can get to work on time and still feel put together. Ok so on to my reviews of the make-up!
ELF (Eyes Lips Face)Cosmetics: I've only tried their blotting sheets but I've heard rave reviews. The company provides inexpensive cosmetics, tools, and bath and body products. The price range is from $1-$100, with the bulk of the items being under $10Through my research of youtube and the web, most women prefer their Studio Line. You can purchase their products online on their website. EyesLipsFace.com
mark by Avon: Great inexpensive make-up that is dependable. I love using their skin care products and their cosmetics are equally great. I've tried their foundation, blush, and lip glosses. I love how the lip glosses allow you to hook 2 together because I like to combine colors. Their interchangeable and the connector can be used over and over again. You can customize palettes and find great looks on their website. The great part is that you don't have to wait for your consultant to bring it to you, you can simply place your order online and she'll get the credit.
Flirt: I bought a great tube of lip gloss 2 years ago and forgot about the line until a recent trip to Kohl's sparked my interest again. Their products are a little more expensive then if you bought them in a drugstore but they are worth it. I love their color selection for lip gloss and lip pencils. They give a great amount of product in the crank up tube and the lip gloss lasts! I 've also tried their blush and was pleased. You can purchase their products at Kohls and kohls.com. You can view their products at flirtcosmetics.com
Philosophy: The only product I've tried is their primer and so far so good. I like it's light weight feel and a little bit of product goes a long away.I have tried it without make-up and really didn't see a difference. Their primer is a lot more affordable then most. I was even able to break up the payments on qvc.com.
Mary Kay: You'll spend a pretty penny on their products but you will never be disappointed. I love their mineral foundation and use their concealer religiously. I really like their lip glosses and mascara. The mascara does amazing things for women like me because I have close to invisible eyelashes. You can view their products online and find a consultant too.
Mally: Celebrity make-up artist turned cosmetic guru! I love her products and their packaging. Her claim to fame is the fact that the make-up is bullet proof, which is true. With one or two extra steps you can be a flawless beauty in the morning and into the night. I lover blush, eye shadows, eye brow products, mascara, primer, eye lash curler, and perfume. The packaging is a girly as it gets and it always feels like you're getting a gift. You can purchase her line at mallycosmetics.com or qvc.com
